1894

Albert und Emil Böhler, who had previously been active as steel traders in the region, acquired the Kapfenberg steelworks, laying the foundation for what would become an international steel corporation.

1958

Consolidation of high-pressure activities within Böhler High Pressure Technology

1996

Privatization and acquisition of Böhler High Pressure Technology by Dr. Harald Aichhorn

1999

The welding Center was expanded, strengthening the company's technical capabilities

2008

Böhler High Pressure Technology becomes BHDT GmbH.

2015

The spin-off of BFT GmbH as an independent company

2016

GIG Karasek, an industrial plant engineering company, becomes part of the Dr. Aichhorn Group. (now: GKT GmbH)

2017

Founding of Dr. Aichhorn Shanghai GmbH

2023

Founding of BFT Pumps USA

2025

BFT GmbH's annual deliveries exceed 200 pumps for the first time. The company moves into its newly constructed headquarters building adjacent to its original headquarters

2026

Production of high-pressure processing (HPP) systems begins. Delitec GmbH is established as an independent subsidiary of the Group
